Appointed Times

These divinely appointed times can only be found on a calendar that uses the moon for time measurement.
Leviticus 23 quotes Yahuwah as saying that the seventh-day Sabbath and the yearly feasts are all His Mo'edim, His appointed times.

What is a day?

Day Reproved

Cloud by Day, Fire by Night, Even to Morning is the Day

Gen 1:5 "And Elohim called the light Day, and the darkness he called Night. And there was evening and there was morning, the first day."

An even more precise description of the day and night, including how they are appointed, even more showing how they point towards the Appointed Times of YHWH.

Gen 1:14-18 "And Elohim said, Let there be lights in the firmament of the heaven to divide the day from the night; and let them be for signs, and for seasons, and for days, and years: And let them be for lights in the firmament of the heaven to give light upon the earth: and it was so. And Elohim made two great lights; the greater light to rule the day, and the lesser light to rule the night: he made the stars also. And Elohim Set them in the firmament of the heaven to give light upon the earth, And to rule over the day and over the night, and to divide the light from the darkness: and Elohim saw that it was good."

There is never an exact phrase "even to even" or "evening to evening" anywhere in the Scriptures, and even if there was, it’s the same as saying in our language here and now as "day to day". Genesis 1, Exodus 12, 16 and 19 all demonstrate that days are the daylight hours, while nights are the darkness. As evening follows morning, it makes up the two halves of the twelve daylight hours, while the nights are not defined by hours, but by an altogether different system of measurement known as the four watches. The Sun enables the time to be watched by the hours and a sundial, which cannot be done equally the same at night.

The following describe how they traveled in the Exodus from Egypt.

"Who went in the way before you, to search you out a place to pitch your tents in, in fire by night, to shew you by what way ye should go, and in a cloud by day." Deuteronomy 1:33

"And so it was, when the cloud abode from even unto the morning, and that the cloud was taken up in the morning, then they journeyed: whether it was by day or by night that the cloud was taken up, they journeyed."Numbers 9:21

Yahusha Himself clearly defines DAY vs NIGHT.
"Yahusha answered, Are there not twelve hours in the day? If any man walk in the day, he stumbleth not, because he seeth the light of this world. But if a man walk in the night, he stumbleth, because there is no light in him." John 11:9-10

Job wrote of corruption to what is called the day;

Job 17:8-12 "Upright men shall be astonied at this, and the innocent shall stir up himself against the hypocrite. The righteous also shall hold on his way, and he that hath clean hands shall be stronger and stronger. But as for you all, do ye return, and come now: for I cannot find one wise man among you. My days are past, my purposes are broken off, even the thoughts of my heart. They change the night into day: the light is short because of darkness."

New Moon Days

Moon = month

First day of each new month is established by the new moon, with the day following it being the first day of the six day work week.
When we look up the Hebrew and Greek meaning of moon it is also the equivalent of month, that they are the same for the time references of the month and weeks within that month.

The modern Gregorian (pagan/papal) calendar has continuously cycling weeks. The Scriptural calendar restarts the weekly cycle after each New Moon day. This is proven by the fact that every time a date is given for a seventh-day Sabbath in Scripture, it is always the 8th, 15th, 22nd or 29th of the month.

The most obvious proof of this is looking at the Passover on Nisan 14, followed by the Sabbath on the 15th.
Six days of work then the Sabbath, and that's 14 days, leaving one day at the beginning of the month.
Count the days backwards, and what is the first day, but New Moon Day!

Pay attention 7th day people, there is absolutely no way around this fact when the first day is accounted for according to Scripture!

The 7th Day Sabbath

Seal of YHWH

The 7th Day Sabbath is a blessed and sanctified day of rest bearing a seal between YHWH and His people that all may know that these are His children. It is a weekly 7th day rest and convocation of prayer, study and worship. There are some sabbath days that coincide with the yearly feasts, which are known as high sabbaths.

Keeping the sabbath is also the 4th of the Ten Commandments, and a blessing to those who keep it.
Isaiah 56:2,6,7, Ezekiel 20:20, Isaiah 58:12,13, Matthew 12:12
The New Moon Day, Sabbath, and Feasts are qodesh days and all other days are work days.

As the Sabbath was kept in Eden before the fall, so it will be kept eternally in the new earth after the restoration, from one new moon to the next.
Isaiah 66:22,23.
