The world religion, mentioned earlier, follows after the master plan of deception that is spoken of in the books of Revelation and Daniel. These two books within the Word of Yah describe in much detail the beast, and his works in these last days. The beast spoken of is a church of this world. This church has been in existence since the Roman empire began. Take note; these are the same people that carried out the request that our Master Yahusha should be crucified. This is what the Word of Yah calls the great whore that sitteth upon many waters, and the Mother of Harlots in the book of Revelation. I choose not to name names any further than already mentioned, but rather, let the Word of Yah reveal who this "mother church" is. The books mentioned above, in the Word of Yahuwah, give a clear description of her characteristics. Her, and her offspring have more in common than some of them care to admit. Matt. 15:8-9; "This people draweth nigh unto me with their mouth, and honoureth me with their lips; but their heart is far from me. But in vain they do worship me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men."

Mark 7:5-9 "Then the Pharisees and scribes asked him, Why walk not thy disciples according to the tradition of the elders, but eat bread with unwashen hands? He answered and said unto them, Well hath Isaiah prophesied of you hypocrites, as it is written, This people honoureth me with their lips, but their heart is far from me. Howbeit in vain do they worship me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men. For laying aside the commandment of YHWH, ye hold the tradition of men, as the washing of pots and cups: and many other such like things ye do. And he said unto them, Full well ye reject the commandment of YHWH, that ye may keep your own tradition." Here we see a specific instance where it appears as an attempt to impose their own tradition, doctrine, or commandment upon Yahusha and His disciples. His response was very simple and straight to the point, establishing the reason such doctrines, traditions, or commandments are without merit. Such is a very similar doctrine, or "commandment" of man, in that what appears to be a direct attempt to change the "work" commandment.

The "washing of pots and cups and many other such like things" would appear to be work. There is only one commandment in the Ten Commandments that deals with work, the fourth of the Ten Commandments testifies against the doing of work on the seventh day Sabbath. Now here is the truth of the matter; the seventh day of the week is not Saturday or Sunday, because it does not fall on the 6 days of work and seventh day rest after the new moon day. Many are they that teach for doctrines that the Sabbath is no longer to be observed, but rather the first day according to the Gregorian calendar, Sunday, in remembrance of the resurrection, nailed to the stake, or whatever other reason they may have for an excuse. Nowhere in the Word of Yah can be found any authorization, or commandment, or change of the Sabbath from the seventh day to the first day, or that it was abolished at Calvary.

Paul, in the 24th chapter of Acts, was brought before a governor, and accused of doing things against their laws of religion. They accused him of being a ringleader of a sect, and of heresy. This is the only time you will find the heresy used in the entire Word of Yahuwah. Know this; a sect is a group of people who have broken away from an established church, and heresy is the rejection of a belief that is a part of church dogma, and/or a religious belief opposed to the orthodox doctrines of a church, especially such a belief specifically denounced by the church. Paul had this to say to his accusers Acts 24:14 "But this I confess unto thee, that after the way which they call heresy, so worship I the Elohim of my fathers, believing all things which are written in the law and in the prophets:" They tried to accuse Paul of doing wrong in the things of Yahuwah, even as they tried to do to Yahusha. The works of evil were being made manifest in that day, and they continue to progress in evil-doing even today. The Saints of Yahuwah continue to be accused of heresy because they follow not after the ways of the world churches. Sabbatarian’s are viewed as being a peculiar people' even by this world’s church system. There is a passage of scripture that very much resembles the days we are now living in.

Ezekiel 22:23-29; "And the word of YHWH came unto me, saying, Son of man, say unto her, Thou art the land that is not cleansed, nor rained upon in the day of indignation. There is a conspiracy of her prophets in the midst thereof, like a roaring lion ravening the prey; they have devoured souls; they have taken the treasure and precious things; they have made her many widows in the midst thereof. Her priests have violated my law, and have profaned mine qodesh things: they have put no difference between the qodesh and profane, neither have they shewed difference between the unclean and the clean, and have hid their eyes from my Sabbaths, and I am profaned among them. Her princes in the midst thereof are like wolves ravening the prey, to shed blood, and to destroy souls, to get dishonest gain. And her prophets have daubed them with untempered morter, seeing vanity, and divining lies unto them, saying, Thus saith the Master YHWH, when YHWH hath not spoken. The people of the land have used oppression, and exercised robbery, and have vexed the poor and needy: yea, they have oppressed the stranger wrongfully."

Revelation 13 is the chapter which I like to call "the battle of religion" because it describes how the false religion, or the Devil’s religion, tries to gain supremacy over all of Yahuwah’s children. To gain a better understanding of what Revelation 13 is talking about, we need also to read Revelation 7:1-18. After taking the time to read both of those chapters 7 and 13, we can see that "the battle of religion" has been somewhat exposed, provided that some individual research is done on our own. We need to see the truth behind the great false doctrine of the world church and religious system. We have covered it to some degree already, but for the sake of some, it must be mentioned again. The first day observance (Sunday, day of the sun god) in place of the seventh day (Saturday, day of the god called Saturn) in the Gregorian calendar is a false doctrine with absolutely no biblical foundation whatsoever. There is no scriptural authority in any way, for changing the day in remembrance of the resurrection of Yahusha, or the removal of the biblical calendar, which is established by the lights in the sky, where the moon determines the months, and the sun determines the years. The Sabbath has not been "nailed to the cross" and made void as some might claim. Yahusha established the Law of Yahuwah, He did not destroy it, or abolish it in any way.

There were three sets of laws given to Moses aside from the Ten Commandments. These were kept in an outside compartment on the Ark of the Covenant. The three sets of laws were the ceremonial laws, civil laws, and the health laws. None of these laws were a witness against us. Rather, they were a witness for prophesies to be fulfilled, how to manage society, and how to take care of ourselves. The ceremonial laws had animal sacrifices and other such offerings, to which Yahusha was the final and only blood sacrifice required for our salvation. All of these offerings, including the animal sacrifices, were a shadow of things to come, and have, since the coming of ha'Mashiah Yahusha, been done away with, or no longer needed, because they would make His sacrifice to no effect for us. This "nailed to the cross" and "Saturday to Sunday in remembrance of His resurrection" doctrine are some of the main doctrines that the world church clings to, which originated from the mother church, and laid upon her offspring. The "mother church", being the world’s leading church, and the offspring of hers, being churches that have departed from her, but still follow after some of her doctrines and commandments. In the book of Daniel, chapter seven, we get a clear picture of what the "mother church", the harlot, attempts to do, by trying to change the very calendar given to us by Yahuwah in His Word. Daniel 7:23-25; "Thus he said, The fourth beast shall be the fourth kingdom upon earth, which shall be diverse from all kingdoms, and shall devour the whole earth, and shall tread it down, and break it in pieces. And the ten horns out of this kingdom are ten kings that shall arise: and another shall rise after them; and he shall be diverse from the first, and he shall subdue three kings. And he shall speak great words against the most High, and shall wear out the saints of the most High, and think to change times and laws: and they shall be given into his hand until a time and times and the dividing of time."

Take heed to what the Word of Yahuwah says, and do not be partial in the Law, for it will be revealed in the time of judgement what has been done. We should teach and preach the Law of Yahuwah, as well as the salvation and faith of Yahushuwah. Malachi 2:7-10 "For the priest's lips should keep knowledge, and they should seek the law at his mouth: for he is the messenger of YHWH of hosts. But ye are departed out of the way; ye have caused many to stumble at the law; ye have corrupted the covenant of Levi, saith YHWH of hosts. Therefore have I also made you contemptible and base before all the people, according as ye have not kept my ways, but have been partial in the law. Have we not all one father? hath not one El created us? why do we deal treacherously every man against his brother, by profaning the covenant of our fathers?"

Romans 9:27-33; "Isaiah also crieth concerning Israel, Though the number of the children of Israel be as the sand of the sea, a remnant shall be saved: For he will finish the work, and cut it short in righteousness: because a short work will YHWH make upon the earth. And as Isaiah said before, Except YHWH Sabaoth had left us a seed, we had been as Sodoma, and been made like unto Gomorrha. What shall we say then? That the Gentiles, which followed not after righteousness, have attained to righteousness, even the righteousness which is of faith. But Israel, which followed after the law of righteousness, hath not attained to the law of righteousness. Wherefore? Because they sought it not by faith, but as it were by the works of the law. For they stumbled at that stumblingstone; As it is written, Behold, I lay in Sion a stumblingstone and rock of offence: and whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed."

According to the above scripture, though the people of Yahuwah are in such great number, only a few remaining faithful to the commandments of Yahuwah, and the testimony of Yahusha shall be saved. Even so, the world will continue to try to walk in its t own ways until the appointed time, and even try to convince us that the ways in which it walks is the true and correct way; they will be convinced in their own minds, preaching another gospel and messiah. 2 Pet. 2:1-2 "But there were false prophets also among the people, even as there shall be false teachers among you, who privily shall bring in damnable heresies, even denying the Master that bought them, and bring upon themselves swift destruction. And many shall follow their destructive ways; by reason of whom the way of truth shall be evil spoken of." Think about what calendar you keep, and if it really stays within the truth of Yahuwah, and if it really proclaims or denies the true Messiah. Let’s look at a couple of passages concerning the Law of Yah. Matthew 22:36-40; "Rabbi, which is the great commandment in the law? Yahusha said unto him, Thou shalt love YHWH thy Elohim with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind. This is the first and great commandment. And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets." And now Mark 12:28-31 "And one of the scribes came, and having heard them reasoning together, and perceiving that he had answered them well, asked him, Which is the first commandment of all? And Yahusha answered him, The first of all the commandments is, Hear, O Israel; YHWH is our Elohim, YHWH is one: And thou shalt love YHWH thy Elohim with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind, and with all thy strength: this is the first commandment. And the second is like, namely this, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. There is none other commandment greater than these." Do not be fooled by them that try to use these passages as an excuse to disregard the Ten Commandments of Yah. The two "great commandments" are the Ten Commandments of Yahuwah simplified. The commandments of Yah are summarized and fulfilled in keeping the two "great commandments".

The first four of the Ten Commandments are between Yahuwah and man, and the last six are between man and his neighbor. Yah has fulfilled the New Covenant promise to us by putting His Law in our heart, which does not nullify or make void His Law, but rather makes it all the more to be observed and kept (by the grace of Yahuwah, and power of the qodesh Spirit) in us. Hebrews 8:7-10; "For if that first covenant had been faultless, then should no place have been sought for the second. For finding fault with them, he saith, Behold, the days come, saith YHWH, when I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel and with the house of Judah: Not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers in the day when I took them by the hand to lead them out of the land of Egypt; because they continued not in my covenant, and I regarded them not, saith YHWH. For this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, saith YHWH; I will put my laws into their mind, and write them in their hearts: and I will be to them Elohim, and they shall be to me a people:"

To all people, concerning the Law of Yahuwah, our Master and Messiah, Yahusha has said in Matt. 5:17-19; "Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil. For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled. Whosoever therefore shall break one of these least commandments, and shall teach men so, he shall be called the least in the kingdom of heaven: but whosoever shall do and teach them, the same shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven."
